Edo State officially has the most stunning first lady in the country. Just a day after her much talked about nuptials to the much older Edo State Governor – Adams Oshiomhole, 31 year old Lara Fortez assumed her first official duty as the First Lady of Edo State.
While many brides would be off enjoying their honeymoon, the new Mrs. Oshiomhole and her hubby participated in the Okpekpe Annual 10Km Race in Edo State, where she handed out trophies and cheques to winners. The 63 year old governor also ran in the 10km race.
The couple have postponed their honeymoon till June so they can both attend the May 29th inauguration of Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.

About running in the 10km race, Gov. Oshiomhole said
I worked hard but was not successful. To do 10 kilometers after the wedding assured me that I am capable and strong to what young people can doSounds like the Governor is in great shape if you know what I mean
