The Plunging V-neck line (Décolletage) is a trend that has always been around and it has always been a risky trend. Before we go on, we would like to let you know that this trend is not for everyone. You have know your body type and limitations and still be willing to step out of your comfort zone, show a little or a lot of skin.
Celebrities spot this look on the red carpet all the time and some of them pull this look off well and look fabulous. And now this trend can be infused into your daily wardrobe.
This trend elongates the appearance of your neck and makes you look slimmer. The plunging V-neck looks best on ladies with a C- cup and below. But if you are above a C- cup and want to wear this, make sure that the cups of the dress are large enough to accommodate your breasts to avoid wardrobe malfunctions or your boobs appearing pressed and flattened.
1. The right bra:
Your
usual bra won’t work with a plunging V neckline, there are bras
specially designed to be worn with this neckline. Plunging bras have a
very deep center bridge, well below your breasts. If you wear a standard
bra with a deep neckline, the cups or bridge may be exposed.-It is also important to use a double stick tape to avoid any malfunctions such as nipple slips.
-Use petals or silicon nipple covers if you are going to be somewhere chilly, that’s if you are going braless.
2. Try not to go overboard: This is a very daring look so try to keep the rest of your outfit subtle. Revealing too much at the same time might look good on celebrities on the red carpet but for a regular day outing. So go with longer hem lines and shorter slits.
3. Accessories: No accessories are needed as this takes the attention away from the dress.
